I’ve spent more than 2 decades excelling in my career as a N.C. Certified Paralegal establishing a reputation as a well-respected professional within my community here in northeast North Carolina. My position as the acting "senior paralegal" in a reputable law firm provided me with years of experience assisting attorneys in legal cases involving real estate contracts, residential construction, zoning, subdivision development, homeowner associations, title disputes and estate administration. I believe that communication and honesty is the key to achieving a successful real estate transaction and therefore I am committed to listening to my clients’ needs and utilizing my negotiating skills and attention to detail to ensure the best possible outcome for my buyer or seller. 

After the COVID shut down, I, like a lot of Americans, needed a change of pace and in May 2022, Rose & Womble Realty Co.- “The Kim Old Team” became my home.  Being part of one of the TOP listing agent teams in the Hampton Roads/Northeast North Carolina area is an honor and I am excited to be able to give back to my neighbors.   As a Currituck native, I have witnessed first-hand its growth from a rural farmland community to now a very successful sought-after place to live with its residents having found ways to retain their small-town values, historic character, scenic beauty, and sense of community, yet sustain a prosperous economy.

Outside of real estate I enjoy spending time on the beautiful Currituck Sound fishing with my husband and two children.
