Bob Stanley was born and raised in East Texas. While in college, he left his hometown to join the Navy. His first Duty Station was right here in in our area. While he has traveled the world extensively in support of numerous military campaigns and training exercises, Bob wrapped up his 32-year, Military/Government career, never being permanently stationed anywhere but the Northeastern North Carolina/Southeastern Virginia region. He is a long-time resident of this area, living in Virginia Beach, VA, Chesapeake, VA  and now Currituck County, NC for the past 9 years. Bob, and his wife Kim, ventured into Real Estate over 20 years ago, investing in and flipping residential properties. In 2013, Bob obtained his Real Estate License to assist his wife on a part time basis and in 2016 he became a full time Realtor. He is now the Owner/Broker in Charge for GreenTreen Realty NENC (NC) and an Owner/Managing Partner for GreenTree Realty Inc. (VA).  Bob previously served as the Director of Government Affairs for the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professional’s (local chapter), served as Vice Chair for a local (NC) political party and was a former Delegate for the NC Congressional Third District.  Bob is now wanting to focus on his profession and the importance of helping govern the Local Association of Realtors (AAAR), giving back to the profession that has given so much to him and his family.
